Welcome to Shipyard Plantation

Welcome Back to Shipyard!

We are happy that you made it back safely.  The Welcome Center will be open the rest of this week until 4pm, so please call 843-785-3310, ext. 221 with any questions. You can also email shipyard02@aol.com, msimmons@shipyardhhi.com, or shipyard01@aol.com.

Things that you should know…

  • Photograph any damage to your property and do what you can to prevent further damage.
  • If you have water, the PSD recommends that you boil your water for the next 3 or 4 days.
  • Contact your regime if you live in a condominium project regarding access and conditions.
  • If you have a tree down on your property, you need to contact a tree company to get it removed.
  • Be cautious moving around as conditions are still dangerous with so many trees and limbs down.
  • We are awaiting information from the Town regarding debris removal and will get that to you as soon as possible.

Allcare Tree Surgery will be coming into Shipyard and servicing residential clients tentatively on Saturday, October 15th.  If any residents wish to have service performed by Allcare, they will have a crane and full crews to handle tree removal.  Their estimator will call one or two hours before they arrive onsite to give estimate of cost for removals.  Residents need to be on their list for service so please call their office at 843-757-8050 or email at allcare@hargray.com with your full name, address and phone number and inform them if trees are on roofs and or will need to be covered with tarps.    Once they make their initial sweep through Shipyard, they will not be returning until all emergency storm work is completed.
