STOP for Bicycle Safety

With warmer weather here, some tips on bicycle safety seem appropriate. Shipyard Director of Safety and Security Brian Pettersen urges both bicyclists and motorists to be alert. Chief Pettersen says the small red intersection stop signs are there to prevent injury. He reminds us to “obey all traffic signals and pathway  markings.” Bicycles are vehicles and must obey South Carolina traffic laws.
