Realtors who are members of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors are permitted complimentary commercial passes. He/she must present their Hilton Head Area Realtors Association card and a photo ID for access. Please visit the Welcome Center on M-F from 7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. or Saturday from 8a.m.-noon. You may also obtain these passes at the Visitor’s Lane, seven days a week from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Realtors are also permitted to access the property until 9:00 p.m. Should you need to access the property after 7:00 p.m., please visit either of the gatehouses for a pass.
We currently offer a reduced rate for Realtor decals. The cost for a yearly decal is $25.00. You must show proof of registration and a valid ID. Unfortunately, we do not accept personal checks. We accept company checks, certified checks and/or cash. For all other questions regarding Realtor access, please call (843) 785-3310, ext. 222.
If you are planning on hosting an Open House in Shipyard, please follow these guidelines:
With 48-hour notice:
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and provide a list of the guests, the property address, and the date of the open house. Please obtain the occupant code from the property owner. If you should have guests who are not on your original list, you may call in passes for them via the numbers listed below.
If less than 48-hours in advance:
- Call-in passes for individual guests or arrange for an open pass on either gatehouse. Please call (843) 785- 4776 (Parkway) or (843) 785-3776 (Pope) to do so.
- You may obtain the occupant code from the homeowner. When you call the gatehouse, the officer will ask for the code, the guest’s name, whether or not an “open pass” is requested, the date of the open house, and for you to verify the address.
Please be reminded that signage, solicitation, and distribution of print advertisement are not permitted in accordance with POA policy. Realtors are permitted to access from 9 am-9pm, 7 days a week.
Enhancement Fee (Transfer Fee) & Assessments for 2017
The 2017 assessment is $910.00.
Our current Enhancement Fee is 1/2 of 1%. This fee is designed to be paid by the buyer for ongoing improvements in Shipyard Plantation. 25% of all Enhancement Fee revenues collected annually are utilized to supplement our Catastrophic Reserve for extraordinary expenses.
