2023 Decal Validation

Decal validation for 2023 starts on Monday, December 5th at 8:00am. If you do not wish to register any new vehicles, you do not need to bring anything besides your photo ID. If you intend to register a new vehicle, bring the applicable vehicle registration with you. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR CURRENT BEACH HANGTAG OR VEHICLE DECAL There is a fee of $25.00 for vehicle decal transfers or replacements. The Welcome Center only accepts cash, cashier’s check, money order, or Shipyard owner personal checks. The Tropical Storm Watch has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning along the coast. Expect locally heavy rainfall during the day Thursday and into Thursday night. Courtesy of the National Weather Service – Charleston Tropical Storm Nicole is still expected to strengthen to hurricane strength as it approaches the east coast of Florida late Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Nicole is forecasted to remain a tropical storm as it moves across the southeast U.S. Thursday night and Friday.
