Turtle Trackers

Have you heard about Turtle Trackers? Did you know there are over 350 turtle trackers on Hilton Head, many of whom are right here in Shipyard? In fact, the Shipyard chapter is in its fourth year this season. Sea Turtle nesting season begins in May. The Turtle Trackers are a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is “to assist with the preservation efforts for endangered sea turtles nesting on Hilton Head Island, and to educate the public for the protection of our sea turtle hatchlings heading to the ocean.” There are currently 6 chapters island-wide: Sea Pines (the founding chapter), Forest …

Annual Meeting Reminder 2020

The management team at Shipyard Property Owners’ Association is preparing for the Annual Meeting of the Association which will be held at the Sonesta Resort at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10th.  Please remember to return your proxy so we can be assured of a quorum.  Also, use caution around the property as we do need paving work before the heavy traffic season arrives.  Hilton Head Health has started construction of their new dorm so be careful as you round the bend towards Hamilton during this construction. See you on the 10th.

Cook-off 2020 Winners!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our Crockpot Cook-off Nibble & Nip. We had a great turnout with a plethora of entries to taste! We want to give a special congratulations to our winners for all their hard work. Jerry Rodriguez took home Chef’s Choice, Jeff Kramer won 1st place popular vote, JT Terleski won 2nd place, and Jenny Bullington took home 3rd place. Photography Contest Winners

Congrats to the annual Photography Contest winners! We had a fantastic turnout and had a blast looking at all of the entries. We were impressed by all of the great photos that were entered.
