Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. Light south wind.

Thursday, 1/20, A 30 percent chance of rain after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph.

Thursday Night A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low around 41. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday, 1/21, Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 48. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday Night A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.

  • Winter Weather: A storm system will affect the area Thursday night through Saturday morning. A short period of freezing rain is possible late Thursday night and Friday morning across inland South Carolina.
  • A more widespread freezing rain event is possible Friday night across much of southern South Carolina and southeast Georgia. A short period of snow and/or sleet cannot be ruled out, mainly across inland areas late Friday night. Stay tuned for the latest information about this potential winter weather event.
