COVID-19 Reminders

Even though tourist season seems to be slowing down, we want to ensure that we work to keep you, the owners, and your guests safe. While there may be less traffic and beachgoers, the virus is still very much among us. Even with Hilton Head and Bluffton having enacted mask-wearing requirements, the Safety and Emergency Preparedness Committee urged us to provide you with the latest information showing the value of wearing a face covering.
Data Analysis by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) shows:
  • Those jurisdictions within South Carolina with mask requirements have seen an overall decrease of 15.1 percent of total cases.
  • Those jurisdictions within South Carolina without mask requirements have experienced an overall increase in total cases of 30.4 percent.
In simple terms, wearing masks works in reducing the spread.
Remember we are all in this together. To reduce the spread of COVID 19, you should:
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Wear a mask in public.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Cover your cough and/or sneezes with tissue or inside of your elbow.
  • Stay at home if you feel sick.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
It is our goal to keep you safe. Please continue to be good neighbors. We are here for you if you need us… 843-785-3310.
