MASKS MANDATORY STARTING TOMORROW On June 29, 2020, Hilton Head Island Town Council adopted Emergency Ordinance 2020-14 requiring individuals to wear face coverings in commercial business establishments in the municipal limits of the Town of Hilton Head Island effective 11:59 pm on June 30, 2020. ALLIGATOR SAFETY IN SHIPYARD Warm spring weather means alligators are more active and more visible. Rising temperatures increase an alligator’s metabolism, which means they begin seeking prey. Occasionally you’ll see them basking in the sun as they regulate their body temperature. Alligator mating season begins in early April and goes into June.
