Tropical Storm Nicole Update

Courtesy of the National Weather Service – Charleston This morning (11/9) there was an update sent about Tropical Storm Nicole. The Tropical Storm Watch has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning along the coast. Expect locally heavy rainfall during the day Thursday and into Thursday night. There is a possibility of isolated tornadoes Thursday into Friday. Please use caution when traveling this weekend or if you are at the beach. Tropical Storm Nicole

Courtesy of the National Weather Service – Charleston Tropical Storm Nicole is still expected to strengthen to hurricane strength as it approaches the east coast of Florida late Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Nicole is forecasted to remain a tropical storm as it moves across the southeast U.S. Thursday night and Friday. The risk for coastal flooding, winds to tropical storm force over the coastal waters, gusty winds along the coastal counties and Lake Moultrie, high surf and heavy rainfall increases as the storm approaches.
