As the weather starts to warm up, many people start working outside in their yards or taking long walks through the woods and trails. Keep an eye on the ground though, because our scaled neighbors could be hiding. Within South Carolina there are a total of 38 snake species, but only 6 are venomous. Have you heard about Turtle Trackers? Did you know there are over 350 turtle trackers on Hilton Head, many of whom are right here in Shipyard? In fact, the Shipyard chapter is in its fourth year this season. Sea Turtle nesting season begins in May.
