Beach Parking
Beach Hangtags are now required for parking at the Beach Club or the overflow parking located on Barcelona Road (image below). If you rent your property, you can enroll in Shipyard’s Short-Term Rental Program. There is no enrollment fees and the program will allow your renters to park one vehicle at the beach parking using a stamp on their pass without the risk of them losing your beach hangtag. Beach Club Walkway CLOSURE
Beach Club Walkway The walkway by the Shipyard Beach Club will be closed Wednesday, February 15th to Saturday, February 18th. During that time please use the beach access point at the Sonesta Resort. Thank you.
HHI Short-Term Rentals
In May of 2022, the Town Council passed an ordinance regulating how short-term rentals will operate on the Island. The ordinance, which applies to privately owned residential property used as vacation homes and short-term rentals for a rental period of less than 30 days, goes into effect on January 2023.
