Overflow Beach Parking
Overflow Beach Parking If the Beach Club parking lot is full, there is overflow beach parking is located on the Port-O-Call & Barcelona road, WITHIN the white lines. If you do park in the overflow parking, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, there is a Beach Cart Shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off. The shuttle runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm, weather permitting. Please call us at 843-785-3310 ext. 1000 if you have any questions!
Food Truck Friday
Food Truck Friday! Mark your calendars and don’t pack your lunches on Friday, July 21st because Fly Pies Pizza will be at the Welcome Center from 11am to 3pm. Stay tuned for a menu as the day gets closer.
RFID Tag Sales
Sales for the RFID tags for the automatic owner gate will continue through the year. The Welcome Center will be open Monday to Friday, 8am-3pm for tag sales. Bring the completed form and payment ($45 each) with you. There is a maximum of three (3) RFID tags per property. We have had requests for RFID tag sales on the weekends. Golfmaster/Harbourmaster
Golfmaster and Harbourmaster Starting on Monday, June 26th the Town will begin work to replace a pipe. The lagoon and water channel level at the control structure in Golfmaster and Harbourmaster will be adjusted for the duration of the project. The Harbourmaster entrance will be open one lane at a time, so we appreciate your patience. Please drive slowly and carefully through this area. The estimated time frame is about three weeks for the project. This of course is all pending weather conditions. We will keep you updated as we get closer in case anything changes. Thank you.
Prepare for a hurricane
The best time to prepare for hurricanes is BEFORE hurricane season begins. Avoid having to rush through potentially life-saving preparations by waiting until it’s too late. Beach Parking
Beach Hangtags are now required for parking at the Beach Club or the overflow parking located on Barcelona Road (image below). If you rent your property, you can enroll in Shipyard’s Short-Term Rental Program. There is no enrollment fees and the program will allow your renters to park one vehicle at the beach parking using a stamp on their pass without the risk of them losing your beach hangtag. RFID Tags On Sale Now!
Today is the first day of RFID tag sales at the Shipyard Welcome Center!!! A few key things to remember: Bring a completed form (below), photo ID, and the payment to the Welcome Center Each RFID tag costs $45.00 RFID tags are limited to three (3) per property Only vehicles of the property owners are eligible RFID tags are IN ADDITION to the owner decals The tags must be placed on each vehicle by a SPOA staff member YES, this means each vehicle must come to the Welcome Center RFID tag form
