Several things can help you battle the heat – acclimation to the heat, consumption of water and good nutrition. Know the 3 types of heat emergencies. HEAT STRESS (heat cramps) When your body temperature rises above normal, you can experience muscle cramps, become weak, disoriented and ill. Alligator Safety – Immediate Fishing Ban
Alligator Safety – Immediate Fishing Ban Many of you may already be aware, but there was a significant alligator incident last Thursday, June 22nd. No one was hurt, but it was definitely a close call when an alligator followed a gentleman who was fishing near the golf club. Immediately following the incident, our management team had K&K Wildlife come out to determine the best next steps. As a result, two alligators were immediately removed. RFID Tag Sales
Sales for the RFID tags for the automatic owner gate will continue through the year. The Welcome Center will be open Monday to Friday, 8am-3pm for tag sales. Bring the completed form and payment ($45 each) with you. There is a maximum of three (3) RFID tags per property. We have had requests for RFID tag sales on the weekends. Prepare for a hurricane
The best time to prepare for hurricanes is BEFORE hurricane season begins. Avoid having to rush through potentially life-saving preparations by waiting until it’s too late. The POA is always happy to see owners working in their yard or hiring a company to maintenance it, but please dispose of your debris or have your landscaper take it with them. Do not stage it on the side of the road or in lots that appear empty.
