We love our Nibble & Nip events! What is a Nibble & Nip? It is an event at the Beach Club that gives Shipyard owners a chance to mingle and relax at the Beach Club. All you have to do with bring something to share, whether it is your favorite beverage or a snack or dessert. The next event is on June 8th in honor of World Ocean Day! This year, the Hilton Head Sea Turtle Patrol reported nearly 46% fewer nests on Hilton Head Island beaches. They documented 291 nests for 2020 compared to 463 nests in 2019. They noted a 76% success rate with nest hatches. Unfortunately, 38 nests became misoriented due to violations with beachfront lighting. Beachfront lighting is an issue we are continuing to work on.
