At-home COVID-19 tests are becoming more available to the public. Many people can find them in Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and even some gas stations. According to The State, a newspaper in Columbia, SC here are a few tips if your at-home test comes back positive:
- Quarantine & Isolate
- stay home for at least 5 days after receiving a positive test
- Notify Others
- Tell those who have been within 6 feet of you for over 15 minutes three days before the positive test
- Wear A Mask
- If you are around others, wear a mask for an extra 5 days
- N95, KN95, and KF94 are recommended
- Speak To A Professional
- COVID-19 can affect each person differently
- If you are over 65 or immunocompromised or have cancer, diabetes you are at a higher risk of developing severe COVID-19
