The Membership Specialist focuses on establishing and maintaining the Shipyard standard in the community. This involves many different programs and communication outlets aimed at giving each owner, renter, and visitor a feeling of community. A few programs include N-Touch, monthly News You Can Use articles, weekly Owner Updates, the quarterly Anchor newsletter, and a joint program with Shipyard Security called Property Checks. Through email communications, updating the website, and running various social media platforms, owners and individuals can be reassured they are receiving current and important information. Other duties would include a variety of initiatives such as: greeting and processing new owners, assisting with the Community Standards Committee, conducting in-depth property tours, and arranging many routine facility and grounds maintenance efforts.
